wedding photographer 1988-2008

A professional photographer was invited to a dinner party on his return from a trip abroad.

The guests persuaded him to display his portfolio and the host's wife remarked "What lovely photos, you must have a very expensive camera."

The photographer smiled and tidied his portfolio away.

After the meal, the photographer said to the host's wife "That was a lovely meal, you must have very expensive pans!"

Twenty years experience covering weddings of many denominations, in all kinds of weather, cannot be substituted by a 'friend with a digital camera'. Wedding photography is not just about snapping away hoping to get some 'good ones'. Aside from seeking out the best light, flattering poses and interesting backgrounds, it is also about dealing with ministers, toastmasters, caterers and many other people working hard to make your day very special and successful. Guests can also need delicate handling and it is important to make the photographs fun too!

Award winning photographer, Chris Hill, has been photographing weddings professionally since 1988. Chris is happy to photograph weddings of all sizes, faiths and of course Civil Partnerships. The day cannot be repeated, so book a professional photographer.

If you are looking for a photographer and wish to meet at the studio for an informal, no obligation, chat about your wedding, please contact us to arrange an appointment.

As the wedding day approaches, a pre-wedding meeting is very important to ensure that you have the style of photographs you require. The details of the time schedule will be discussed to ensure the smooth running of your day. It also gives you the opportunity to add your own ideas and of course, run through the important groups required. The pre-wedding meeting will be with Chris, who will be your photographer on the day.

Try before you buy!

Why not book an engagement sitting FREE*, to see if you feel comfortable and relaxed working with Chris before booking your wedding, (*the sitting is free and you are under no obligation to buy any photos - but a free photo worth £35 is included if you DO book your wedding).

Booking

A great number of weddings are booked on personal recommendation from previous couples so many dates are booked a long time in advance. Chris will only cover one wedding per day, so it is recommended you book early to avoid disappointment. Dates cannot be reserved without a completed booking form and £250 retainer. Prices and packages

To offer as much flexibility as possible there is a choice of coverages from 4 hours† to as long as you need!! There is a choice of album styles from a Classic album, Reportage Album or Magazine style story-book.

Coverage with up to 60 images to keep, from £895.00. All-inclusive packages with album are available from just under £1250. If none of our options suit you, let us create one that does!

NEW FOR 2008. If you want professional images but prefer to source and design your own album, we now offer two options for 'Coverage + Digital Files Only' from four hours coverage. Save on reprints by printing your own for family and friends.

2009 Weddings at 2008 prices! Weddings for 2009 are currently being accepted at 2008 prices. Once a booking is made, that price is guaranteed. With material and business costs rising sharply, prices are being reviewed and the new 2009 price list will be introduced shortly. Only bookings received before 1st July 2008 will be guaranteed the 2008 price!
