“If I can offer one piece of advice… Don’t pack your schedule too tightly. Leave a little space for flexibility. It is so easy to lose 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there. The hands on the clock somehow spin much quicker on your wedding day!
Loosen your agenda just a little. You’ll thank me later!”
You can cut corners on some aspects of your wedding and nobody will even notice. Cut corners on your wedding photography and EVERYBODY will notice.
A wedding photographer with over thirty years experience covering weddings of many denominations, in all kinds of weather, cannot be substituted by a ‘friend with a digital camera’. Wedding photography is not just about snapping away hoping to get some ‘good ones’. Aside from seeking out the best light, flattering poses and interesting backgrounds, it is also about dealing with ministers, toastmasters, caterers and many other people working hard to make your day very special and successful. Guests can also need delicate handling and it is important to make the photographs fun too!
Award winning photographer, Chris Hill, has been photographing weddings professionally since 1988. Chris is happy to photograph weddings of all sizes, faiths and same sex marriages. The day cannot be repeated, so book a professional photographer. If you are looking for wedding photography and wish to meet at the studio for an informal, no obligation, chat about your wedding, please contact us to arrange an appointment.
As the wedding day approaches, a pre-wedding meeting is very important to ensure that you have the style of photographs you require. The details of the time schedule will be discussed to ensure the smooth running of your day. It also gives you the opportunity to add your own ideas and of course, run through the important groups required. The pre-wedding photography meeting will be with Chris, who will be your photographer on the day.
A great number of weddings are booked on personal recommendation from previous couples, so many dates can be booked a long time in advance. Chris will only cover one wedding per day, so it is recommended you book early to avoid disappointment. Your wedding date can be reserved by completing the online booking form and a £250 retainer.
Complimentary Engagement Portrait
“I’d love to get to know you better before the wedding day, so I invite you to take part in the complimentary engagement portrait shoot, either in the studio or on location. For the camera shy it can be a great ice-breaker, and a nice relaxed introduction to a few tips that will benefit your wedding photos. It’s not obligatory, but to gently persuade you to take up the offer, I will also include a free 10″ x 8″ black & white photo.”
“I believe the reason that The Storybook is the most popular package because it is all-inclusive with transparent pricing. I arrive at the bridal prep when everyone is putting their hair up, and leave during the dancing when everyone is letting their hair down! A full day coverage, a beautiful wedding album, plus all images on USB.
Alternatively, the Build Your Own Package offers great flexibility. Start with a digital only service, and have the option to add extra hours, books, albums etc. if you wish.
However, if you want a different approach, please contact me with your wish-list and budget. I will be more than happy to customise a bespoke package exclusively for you.”
Many colours and combinations to choose from.
